Here you will find the latest news, announcements, events, service times, and ministry resources that we offer. God’s House is a place where His children come together to worship Him, and minister to one another according to Ephesians 4:12-

“For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the Ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ.”

When I say I’m going to mom’s house, I know mom will be there, and she will always have the things I need. You can also know when you come to God’s House that He will be here to welcome you home, and all your spiritual needs will be met. It is our desire to establish a place where God can be seen, heard, and felt in all His power and glory. It is our prayer and greatest desire that you are encouraged and uplifted in Christ as you explore the ministerial resources of our website.

Check back here often for my “Pastor’s Corner.” In it I will offer a word from the Lord, of encouragement and uplifting. I hope that it will bless your spirit and cause you to go deeper in the things that be of God. Pastors Ed & Lou Underwood

Pastor Ed and Lou Underwood moved to Lafayette, Indiana from Woodford County Kentucky. Although Pastor Ed was primarily raised in the Lafayette community, he eventually traveled throughout the U.S as an evangelist, and later served as a missionary in Haiti. He then met his lovely wife Lou at a revival service he held for his future father in law in Versailles, Kentucky. Pastor Ed and Lou have served as evangelists, pastors, youth pastors, and state youth directors. Their love for God and for His people is seen in their service to the Lafayette community, and to the church body at God’s House. In August of 2001 The Underwood’s moved their family to the Lafayette area in obedience to God’s call to start a new church ministry in the city. In May of 2003 they began bible studies in their home, and later established God’s House in November of that year on State Road 26 and Creasy Lane. They have three wonderful children who have worked alongside them as they have built up the kingdom of God. Their eldest son Eddie and his wife, Carrie, are the Youth Directors for Indiana Student Ministries. Their daughter Jessica and her husband Stormy serve as children’s pastors at God’s House. Their youngest son, Ricky and his wife Brooke are the youth pastors at God’s House. It is their greatest desire to see everyone come to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ and take their rightful place in God’s Kingdom. They desire that church members be turned into ministers, and that God’s House continue to be a place where God can be seen, heard and felt in all His power and glory.
