God’s House was born of a desire for people to come to worship and know that God would meet them there.
Just as when you say, “I’m going to Mom’s house”, you know that Mom will be there; when you say, “I’m going to God’s House” you know that God will be there. This is the place where God can be seen, heard, and felt in all of his power and glory.
This is the place where God can feel at home, a place where He is welcome and comfortable, a place where He is free to be God, any time and any way He wants to be. It’s God’s House.
This is the House where people can talk to God and God can talk to them; the House where people can begin to know God intimately, establishing a relationship with Him, and growing in that relationship daily by listening to His Word and communing with Him.
The senior pastor at God’s House is Pastor Ed. As a child he roamed the Appalachian hills of Virginia. His father was an itinerant preacher. After his parents moved their family to Lafayette, Pastor Ed began a real relationship with God. This led him to the mission field of Haiti and his heart developed an overwhelming love for people. He responded to the call of God to share the good news of God’s love and salvation through faith in Jesus Christ. Upon his return to the United States, he traveled as an evangelist.
Pastor Lou grew up in a spirit-filled home. When she was a teenager, her parents became pastors of the Pentecostal Church of God in Versailles, Kentucky. It was then that Pastor Lou began to minister to God through music. Earning one degree from Southern Bible College in Houston, she came home to minister with her parents.
As God had planned, it was in a revival service at that local church, that Pastor Ed met Pastor Lou. They married and evangelized together. As God directed, they served as state youth directors, secretary-treasurer, and district presbyter, as well as pioneering churches, pastoring, building church facilities, and working in the mission field. With a degree in religious studies and communication, Pastor Lou ministers in word and music. As an ordained minister, Pastor Ed is a gifted teacher, preacher, and administrator.
Their life is blessed with three children, Eddie, Jessica, and Ricky. Although they are grown, their children, along with their spouses and families, serve God in ministry across the United States.
